Santorini has been on my travel bucket list for 5 years, and during the summer of 2017, I went there with my family. For the first night, we stayed at West East Suites in Imerovigl. Staff are really nice there. They welcomed us with greek yogurts and drinks. We had a private pool facing the volcano.  The sunset was the best one I had ever seen.

Since we didn’t stay at Santorini that night, any restaurant place is far from our hotel, so we decided to eat at hotel’s restaurant. For breakfast, you will need to fill out a form and give it to the staff before midnight. They have both American breakfast and Greek breakfast.

I planned to stay at 3 different hotels for 3 nights of our stay because I want to explore different part of the island (yea..pretty crazy idea). For the second night, we stayed at the well-known Mystique Hotel.

Just as the pictures on every social media platform shows, the hotel’s architectures are all white washed and fabulous.

Everywhere is a perfect Instagram spot in Santorini. Oia is a really small town, from our hotel to the end of the town was about one hour.

We moved to Thira for our last day and explored around Santorini. There are three beaches: black beach, red beach and white beach. You can simply drive to the first two beaches, but for white beach you have to take the boat. They are formed by different kinds of lava.

Our travel guide told us Santorini has experienced 3 volcanic eruptions in 20th century.

Restaurants recommendations:

Petro Restaurants -Οία, Thira 847 02, Greece (eat while watching sunset!)
The Athenian House – Unnamed Road, Imerovigli 847 00, Greece (MUST-TRY, the foods and environments are fantastic! I’m so glad we spent our last dinner here)

Hope one day I can find my beloved one and go here again…
